Freer. The exhibition attracted national attention for its innovative display of art from Western and Eastern traditions. This lecture by UM doctoral students Anna Wieck, Mei-Chen Pan, and Sarah Gothie sheds new light on Freer's legacy at UM. It is the culmination of a project initiated by the Friends of the Freer House with the UM Museum Studies Program. Reception and tours of Freer House will follow the lecture.
