Do you have an idea for a great story? The Word of Mouth Student Story Slam is the place to share it. The theme for the evening is "Something from Nothing," and was inspired by UMMA's current exhibition "Mark di Suvero: Tabletops," on view through February 26, 2012. Here is how it works: those in attendance are invited to put their names in a hat, then ten names are randomly selected to tell five-minute stories from their lives relative to the theme. Events are always free, and no previous story slam experience is necessary. Whether you come with stories or just to listen in, we hope to see you there!
