John Kannenberg (MFA Student, Art and Design, UM) and Terry Wilfong (Associate Curator, Kelsey Museum and Associate Professor, Department of Near Eastern Studies, UM) will explore the varied roles sound can play within the museum experience, roles often overlooked by curators and designers. The discussion will also explore whether "museums of sound" could become commonplace and, if so, what such collections might contain.
