Programs and ToursWood CutsIn association with the exhibition Multiple Impressions: Contemporary Chinese Woodblock Prints the SMTD@UMMA series is pleased to present an evening of chamber music that explores the wide variety and long history of musical sounds made by wooden instruments. Performed by students and faculty on violins, cellos, guitars, marimbas and woodblocks, recorders, clarinets, and bassoons, wood will thud, ring, and hoot. The SMTD@UMMA concert series is made possible in part by the Katherine Tuck Enrichment Fund. Multiple Impressions was organized by the University of Michigan Museum of Art with the cooperation and support of the China Academy of Art, Hangzhou, China.
