UMMA Dialogues: Amalia Pica

UMMA regrets that Amalia Pica's visit to campus has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. Her exhibition continues on display in the Project Gallery through September 18th, 2011.

Join artist Amalia Pica and guest curator Jacob Proctor for a discussion of Pica’s work, which includes sculpture, photography, film, and installation, as well as temporary interventions on buildings, monuments, and objects. Across this diverse body of work Pica has pursued an interest in how personal and collective histories are perceived, transmitted, and represented in different cultural and historical contexts. Meet the artist in the gallery after the talk.

This program is made possible in part by the University of Michigan Office of the Provost and CEW Frances and Sydney Lewis Visiting Leaders Fund.
