Join us for a concert of original work by UM student singer/ songwriters. These eleven students participated in DeRoy Visiting Professor Dick Siegel's Honors workshops, “Singing Out of Our Minds."

The course was based on an exploration of American roots songwriting to help gain a greater understanding of the songwriting process itself. Students created new songs each week, and performed them in the workshops.

Guests will hear a selection of these songs sung, and in most instances accompanied, by the songwriters themselves.
