This exuberant, touching, romantic comedy has been sweeping film festivals across the globe, and snagging awards for LGBT visibility. Based on South Asian director Shamim Sarif’s autobiographical novel, the film tells the story of two women based in London. Tala, a Christian Jordanian of Palestinian descent is in the midst of planning her wedding and Leyla is a shy Mulsim who is dating Leyla's best friend, Ali. Brought together by chance, Tala and Leyla fall in love, turning their worlds upside down.
