Ed Sarath and Friends

Flugelhornist and UM Music Professor Ed Sarath brings together a wide variety of musicians for an evening of improvised music that will cut across wide-ranging boundaries.  Configurations ranging from duo to quintets to larger groups will feature students and faculty from jazz, classical, and other stylistic backgrounds.  Promising to feature a virtual "who's who" of local improvisers, don't miss this rare local performance by Sarath.

This monthly series, curated by UM Associate Professor Adam Unsworth, presents outstanding local artists in an intimate setting. This series is made possible by the Doris Sloan Memorial Fund.
