Jazz Vocalist Natasha Patamapongs

Jazz vocalist Natasha Patamapongs is a Warner Music artist with two self-produced jazz albums under her belt. Among her many achievements: she has toured, recorded, and performed with the top jazz musicians in Southeast Asia, and headlined in major jazz festivals throughout the region. Her most recent solo project involves a collaboration with Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist Bob James. Along with her fellow UM jazz students, Gil Scott Chapman on piano and Kieran Hanlon on bass, Natasha will present a night of vocal artistry in the Eddie Jefferson vernacular and will complete the evening with her own intimate selection of rarely covered jazz standards. For more information please visit: http://www.mellowmotif.com or http://www.facebook.com/mellowmotifjazz.

This exciting performance series falls on the third Thursday of each month and features different student performers who work in a variety of media including music, comedy, and spoken word. A great way to spend an evening with your friends and to experience the exceptional talent of UM students in an intimate setting. This series is curated and produced by UMMA's Student Programming and Advisory Board. Students interested in performing may view application details at www.umma.umich.edu/for-students/
