In Conversation: Exploring Landscape

Join Senior Curator of Western Art Carole McNamara for an In Conversation event devoted to the art of landscape. Taking as her point of departure the Museum's inaugural exhibition in its new Photography Gallery, Brett Weston Landscapes, McNamara will look at the artistic and philosophical significance of landscapes from throughout the Western collections, and how these works reflect our relationship to the natural world. This informal conversation will cover many of the Museum's galleries so please be prepared to walk and discuss works throughout the Museum. Look for part two, Figure and Ground in November.

Lead support for Brett Weston Landscapes is provided by the Lois Zenkel Photographic Exhibitions Fund.
